It is our opinion that Calcedeaver is the best kept secret in Mobile
County. Our school is nestled in the rural timberlands of Mt. Vernon,
Alabama and most people say it is difficult to find. Our student body is
comprised of a majority of Native American students and free/reduced
lunch. In recent years, Calcedeaver has received notoriety in numerous
newspapers and magazines for our academic successes. We are a goal
